06/01/2008: CIG now represents Utica, PennMiller and Applied Underwriters
In September 2008, Concord Insurance Group, Inc. began to represent Utica Insurance, PennMiller Insurance and Applied Underwriters. The addition of these companies to our portfolio expands our coverage for commercial insurance lines and allows CIG, Inc. to provide you with multiple quotes for all your insurance needs.

03/01/2008: Competitive Pricing on Auto Insurance in Massachusetts
Beginning April 1, 2008 Massachusetts deregulated the auto insurance rates and opened the market to competitive pricing. All licensed Massachusetts Drivers are now able to contact different insurance companies to obtain personal automobile insurance quotations. When calling any agency, it is important to provide the same limits, coverages and terms as before and to make sure to provide a complete 6-year driving history for every household member that also holds an active driver’s license.

Multi Policy Discounts are available
Prior to the deregulation of auto insurance pricing, customer insurance policies were often placed with different companies for auto and home insurance. Many companies are now offering a multi-policy discount of 10% off the homeowners insurance if both the automobile and homeowners insurance policies are written. If you have your home and auto policies written with different companies, we can provide you a quote to compare rates if the policies are moved to the same company. Also, multi-policy discounts can offer a competitive rate comparison for those clients who write their automobile policies through another company and receive discounts such as AAA or group auto.
